The [NGN] Website and Hosting Services will be unavailable 25/10/08 from 12:00AM through to 1:00AM EST. During this time, the following works will be carried out:
- Upgrade of all core switches to brand new CISCO gigabit switches.
- Replacing all cables with brand new CAT6 cables.
- Moving some servers to reconfigure rack space.
- Installation of new core routing equipment to be turned on at a later stage.

As we all know [NGN] sent out the call to find dedicated Counter Strike teams in which we would support in the current and distant future. 3 Weeks ago we made the announcement and the response was sensational!!
I would like to commend everyone on there fantastic applications, in which i had great joy reading them.

NuSkope Gaming Network looking for Australia’s best of the best:
In recent discussion NGN has come to the decision to use a spare box to host some of the best clans in Australia’s servers completely for free. Yes, NGN is looking to sponsor Australian Counter Strike : 1.6 and Counter Strike : Source Teams.
Applications will be accepted from Sunday 28th September until Sunday 12th October. This gives everyone Two weeks to create and submit their application. Once the application time ends there will be a week long period for admins to decide on whom will win the Sponsorship(s).
What’s included in the sponsorship:
- Counter Strike Server; 12 slots and HalflifeTV or SourceTV.
- Webhosting; Clan package web space including a sub domain (teamname.ngn.net.au or ngn.net.au/teamname)
- Support; Announcements of teams achievements on website such as competition results or ladder advances.
To be worthy of a sponsorship, NGN requires:
- Advertising (e.g. In game tag, on your website, through steam friends etc.)
- Respect
